Stain Removal is a Frustrating Thing

Many people do not like to do household chores. This is especially true of man.

What are Household chores? They are activities that are carried out to keep a living quarter or environment clean, neat and well maintained. These activities are carried out on a recurring basis. Usually, women are the ones doing these household activities. But, there are exceptions.

One of the most irritating types of household chore is stain removal.

What is a stain? It is an unappealing difference in colour or texture that distinguishes itself from the surface on which it is found. Fabrics and apparels are some of the most easily stained materials. Nevertheless, different kinds of surfaces can be stained by different kinds of substances and chemicals.

There are stain removers that are designed to remove stains from fabric. But do you know that you can actually remove stains without using any of these stain removers? For some stains, yes you can.

For example, ammonia can be used as a stain remover. It can be used to remove stains such as ink marks from pen leaks.

Baking soda is also a good stain removing substance. Baking soda or sodium bicarbonate is the chemical compound with the formula of NaHCO3. It is a white solid that is crystalline that looks like fine powder. Baking soda can be used to clear substances such as coffee. Coffee stains on clothes is probably one of the most commonly encountered stain.
